Public Benefit and Charitable Purpose

As a scientific society established for public benefit, the Society for Agriculture, Food Security and Energy for One Health (SAFE) is founded with the aim of supporting activities that advance knowledge, collaboration, and capacity building at the intersection of agriculture, food systems, energy, and One Health.

SAFE is being developed to support the scientific and professional community by facilitating knowledge exchange, encouraging interdisciplinary research, and promoting evidence-based approaches to global sustainability challenges. Society intends to contribute to public benefit through activities such as supporting researchers and professionals at different stages of their careers, fostering scientific dialogue through meetings and events, and promoting access to high-quality scientific knowledge.

As SAFE grows, its activities are expected to include educational initiatives, training programs, conferences, workshops, and the dissemination of scientific information through publications and other platforms. These efforts are designed to enhance understanding of integrated One Health approaches and to support solutions that benefit both society and the environment.

SAFE operates on a not-for-profit basis, with the objective of ensuring that its activities serve the wider public interest by strengthening sustainable agriculture, food security, responsible energy systems, and human–animal–environment health.
